I've been talking with a Norwegian friend of mine, who happens to live in The Netherlands, and also a Swedish friend of mine from Stockholm about Swedish politics, and I find it very fascinating. They're both male and their outlook on the current climate in Sweden for men is not favorable at all. I'm interested to know how you feel about it, as a female?

Hmmm... I sort of get what they mean. The parties on the left kind of want to force men into doing the stuff women did before, taking care of the kids and such... and personally I don't think that's a good idea. I think people should choose to take care of their kids in a way that THEY find good. If daddy happens to have a lot of important work, then it's not very good if he's FORCED by the government to be at home with the kid when mommy is working ( ... )
