It's stories like this that really undermines people's desire to do the right thing.  If it had been me, I probably would have stolen the device and used it myself.  Fuck the banks.  Fuck them in their asses.
It's supposed to snow a lot today.  I see no evidence of that beyond an overcast sky.

I've got my eye on the BlackBerry 8700r.   It has ( Read more... )

I think I'm going to get one in a month or two... the idea of having your own apps, and not worrying about the company you bought it from updating it's firmwire and breaking it. Seems nice.

And I can plug in any movies, etc I want.

Yeah, lots of people seem to have their eyes on that unit. I'm actually quite happy with the PSP's homebrew support, but mostly because I never upgraded past version 1.5 of the firmware. I know at least one person who has kept thier PSP up to date but is now kicking himself because he's missing out on the real fun stuff.

I have my doubts about the game support for the GP2X though.

Yeah. I've got doubts on that as well. I mean.. it currently doesn't have 2 player support.. but the USB cable connection is not powered so you could in theory connect 2 systems via the same cable.
Just downloaded the dev kit. So once classes are done I'll have a chance to hammer around with it. And seeing if I can't setup to be a distributor :) (Well not me, work)
Should be intersting. Been watching this for a bit.

PSP RPGs anonymous December 15 2005, 14:02:11 UTC
I got my SO a DS for xmas this year 'cause there was a sweet deal on it at zellers. As soon as I got home, I proceeded to look for RPGs and Racers for myself. No Dice! The only RPG coming out for the DS that I have a mild interest in is FF:CC. There is still little to no, home brew stuff for it. I'm still saving up for a PSP. There are a bunch of RPGs and RT/TBSGs in the werks and I can import WRC from the UK for it.

You've made the right choice. Patience will see you through.
Or d/l a Chrono Trigger ROM for you SNES emu.
Even the Zelda game for the SNES is pretty good.
There are a boat load of 'em for that emu. That was half the reason I bought a SNES when it first came out.
