Bodyswitch [for Ray]
It could have been any number of things, but ultimately, what wakes Aphrodite up is when she goes to turn over and finds she's having a harder time doing it than usual. Confused, she goes to stretch out, automatically moving to reach her arms over her head and arch her back cat-like. Immediately she can tell something's wrong, and looks down at herself.
What she sees jerks her awake with the abruptness of a dousing of ice water and she springs out of bed - well, attempts to spring out of bed, but just ends up heaving herself over the edge and falling in an ungainly heap on the floor. She's in someone else's body, and it moves with far less grace and flexibility than she's used to. What's more, it seems to be the body of a small boy.
Aphrodite pulls herself to her feet, rage and panic building inside her like a small volcano. She's in the body of a small, very fat boy, and she has no idea what's happened to her own perfect, formerly immortal body.
"THIS IS SO TOTALLY BOGUS!" she screams, in a voice that's young and grating and so unlike her own.
