Christy's focus was split between the story her friend was telling the group and blonde waitress three tables over. As they started laughing, Christy smiled and nodded when the person opposite her started asking who needed another round.

"Who are you leering at?" Monica asked her, leaning to get a look in the direction the brunette was facing.

"I'm not leering," Christy gasped, but the two men closest to them also turned. Making a face at both of them, she nodded and pointed to the waitress and shook her head. "She looks really familiar." Turning back to Monica, Christy's eyes narrowed. "Do we know her?

Monica shook her head and reached for one of the fresh beers another waitress had just delivered to the table. "Hey, Jake!" she called to the one who had waved down their waitress. "Five thirty," she said, nodding behind him. Jake turned to look behind him, then turned back to Monica.

"What am I looking at?" he asked.

"Who," Monica corrected. "The blonde. Do you know her?" Jake seemed to know everyone, especially the blondes.

Jake gave the waitress a look and shook his head, then looked back at his beer. Closing one eye, he turned back again and watched the blonde walk past. It took another second, but he pointed to Monica and gave her a thumbs up. "Redhead."

Monica and Christy looked at each other, then at the friends sitting on either side of him, confused.

Jake caught the collection of looks and pointed toward the stage. "The redhead, on stage," he clarified. The whole group of friends looked from him to the waitress and then shook their heads. "Excuse me," Jake said, catching their waitress as she walked past him. "The blonde waitress," he pointed, "was she on stage, earlier? Red wig?"

The waitress turned to see who he was looking at and nodded. "Nora? Yeah, she was." Everyone at the table looked at each other with confusion.

"Okay, she's either the most feminine man I've ever seen," Christy started.

"Or you're at the only drag show employing an actual woman," the waitress replied with a smirk.
