been thinking about what i should do with myself this year over the summer (that doesn't involve kicking about at subcity, or in the Music Dept. Studios) and i've kindof been interested in doing something like this for a while

I'm gonna get one of the new nikon digital slrs... reckon they are worth a look in. Out of the 2 I'd say the first one but can't follow the links in work so only vaguely know what you are on about x

i'm not getting a d-SLR fraser, i'm getting a manual one, partly for posterity, and partly because i've missed using manual cameras over the last while. digital pictures are great, but i think if you want to enjoy photography, there's so much that you can learn from a manual, which you don't often maybe understand in a digital.

Hooray! Also, I have to talk to you about the flat thing. Adam will have to bow out of living with us - either he can live with his friend in the two-person bit (which means one of your dudes can't) or he just can't live with us. So-o-o, one of your dudes will have to live with us in the three-person bit, or we need to find a replacement.

hmmm.... I'd go with the OM-10.... to be honest. Holga/lomo is fun tho, so it depends what you want it for.

OM-10 is you want predictability with the ability to experiment

Lomo/Holga is you want minimal control over whether the pictures even turn out ;)

also, i foget if it's the OM-1 or OM-10 that is only partially manual - you want the one which is fully... think it's a little pricier but you'll miss having full control ;)
