that's my favourite line, right there. there's something lovely about the concept conjured up by that! like drifting through a liquid house of mirrors, everything distorted and perverted from original shape into forms new and alien. hah, lovecrafty, to be sure.
at least according to buddhist methodology, no-one is ever incapable of redemption. indeed, there's no sin to commit. the world is just a swirling ball of change and dynamism, and the only crime is stagnation. grow, change, and learn. everything else is incidental, my secret friend.
