Sorry it's taken me so long to comment. This is a really interesting pairing, one I hadn't considered (guess that's why it's called a Rare Pair fest, huh?) but you did a nice job with it. I really like the opening scene with James & Regulus on the Quidditch pitch, and the way Regulus's sarcasm gives way to vulnerability as the piece goes on. And I agree with the others--protective older brother Sirius is great.
