Texas Music Educators Association Will Not Let Male Student Audition as a Soprano

The Texas Music Educators Association has turned down a request from a male student who wishes to perform as a soprano in a state competition, the Dallas/Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Its probably not damaging his voice, but girls singing tenor actually can have a damaging effect. Roxanne did hurt her voice some after singing tenor for a year or two in highschool. Alot of it is a strain.

but this boy probably is fine, if he can sing it, he can sing it.
