I feel guilty that we don't reuse our gray water, with all the laundry that we do, and dishes and showers and whatnot. Plus we have a softener that recharges 3 days a week, which really wastes a lot of water. And I've switched my diaper washing routine to include a second warm/cold cycle with no detergent, which has gotten rid of our stink, but uses a lot more water.

In an ideal world, I'd replace our current appliances with energy star efficient appliances. I'd love to get a front loading washer, and a more efficient fridge and dishwasher. But in reality, we're waiting for something to actually break before we replace it. I think we are going to slowly replace all the doors and windows in our house though. You can just feel the cold air coming in, which wastes a lot of heat.
