Deck the Halls

So tonight we put up the Christmas decorations including the tree. My tree isn't exactly what you would call pretty, but every piece of it has a memory. And the boys have so much fun putting up the ornaments. And that's what matters most to me. It was a ton of fun.

That's why I love your tree. Every ornament is special and loved. I miss being there to do the tree with you and hear the stories again. Love you.

My tree is the same. Not matchy-matchy but darn sentimental. We have ornaments from our childhoods (I have WAY more than my husband though!)

Me too :) My parents gave me an ornament every year in my stocking so that when we left the house we would have a stash of ornaments to start decorating our own tree. The same is true of my boys. They get at least one ornament every year from Bruce & I and often they'll get one from their Nana too. They love it!
