D1 has politely requested that I stop bombarding her with all the good things about the German medical system, as it just makes her feel bad, being stuck with US health care costs and insurance

Okay, so, I'm intruding over here from the Deutsche Kultur post you had about presents because I just moved to Landstuhl last week and ... I guess because I have a million questions and stuff. (BTW, this isn't Michelle whom I met at church on Sunday, is it?) - any chance that you'd email me and let me ask my zillion questions? (They mainly have to do with choosing a place to live - I have my eye on a place but have had some negative comments about it but I'm pretty limited for now (and do enjoy walking to work)...) - I'm Ellen and you can reach me at ellenajellen at yahoo.com - and I do have a cell phone number (should probably buy more minutes already!) and I can email that back to you if you're a phone person. (I'm not but I'll take anything at this point, haha!)
