Livingston ended up being quite an interesting experience. The day and a half that we spent there was just lots of sitting around, getting drinks, exploring the area, and vegging out (which seems to be a common theme of this trip). umm hello. im quite hesitant abt this but oh well. we only live once. anw! i wuz looking through the posts on carletoncollege lj community (i'm graduating from your US-equivalent of high school end of this year, so starting to apply to universities) and urs stood out because 1) i want to do int'l relations too! 2) i'm also either looking to concentrate on mandarin or learn arabic! and hopefully learn some basic italian/spanish/french

so i came to ur lj and started reading abt your exciting trip to all these places! i never had much interest in the latin american world, probably mostly due to lack of exposure and distance hehe. but anw! u sound like ure enjoying life very much now. hopefully college life would be wonderful for you! =)

and umm at the risk of sounding like a fool, could I ask you what you mean by 'international relations with an anthropological slant'? >.<
