I tried to read Junko Mizuno's PURE TRANCE at Miukki's place and I feel really bad because although I like Mizuno's style I absolutely loathed the comic......

I can't tell which character is which (even their HAIRSTYLES are similar, the only thing you usually recognize manga-characters from) and I've honestly seen way better artists whose style would still fit the same criterias that make her popular in hobbyist japanese artsites :x

I can't remember much of her biography but I think that was pretentious as hell, too.
