Yellowstone - Day Two

We stayed in Mammoth. This is good in some ways (like that it's in the park and near Mammoth), bad in others (like that it's a LONG way from the geyser basin). To make up for this - and my suspicion that even off-season, Yellowstone would be packed, I recommended waking up at 5 am. I didn't know there were multiple geysers at this park. (That's why it looks "different" in my head.)

There are thousands, I think. (Well, hundreds, anyway.) It's pretty amazing in that it's all super varied in type and composition...I could easily spend a month there!

And I'm glad you like it! (It's definitely worth a visit whenever you and Barnabas get a chance!)
