Another Acceptance

OMG, so...my story, "Space Between the Stars" was just accepted for the Space Opera edition of Penumbra.

First pro payment ever.  Heart is fluttering hard.  Can't really believe it, but super happy.  (And in the same zine a prisoner__24601, which is freaking amazing.  Someday the same issue, Pris...someday.)

I keep hoping that it's the first of many, but then again, such things are uncertain.

(Although I am fairly sure that if I keep working at it, it's the "first of more". But with that said, I suspect there will be long, sad little dry spells interspersed with occasional victories. Such is the way of writing.)

Thanks! I'm really excited. It's like, "Oh, wow...if I keep working, maybe I'll eventually get SFWA credits...or something. ;)" If nothing else, it makes me think that I don't totally suck.
