On a strictly professional level, has gender helped or hindered you?

[Pepper pressed her lips together in thought. After a moment, she nodded to herself.] A bit of both, I think. Obviously, with Tony as my boss, being a woman has helped. But in the boardroom I find it's a bit of hindrance. People often see me as a go-between for Tony and whomever he feels like addressing rather than a business person in my own right. There are also the people who think that I've only achieved my success because of being a woman and using my "wiles" to further my career.
