I have wide hips, small breasts, plump arms, and a tummy, and (and, not but) I like how my body looks. I was really into classical paintings--Bouguereau in particular--when I was a kid and the tummy, the arm fat, the small breasts, the wide hips, they're all there. Aw, she's so sweet. Loving the rounded face, the pose, the freckles, and of course, the proportions. The tentative expression, too. Lovely.

And have I mentioned that you have a real knack for color scheme?

Maybe I should look at the great painters for inspiration. Learning to draw from comics hasn't been all bad, but I'm not very good at drawing different body types; including my own.

I just wanted to say thankyou for this. I also have large hips and smaller breasts and this has always been an issue for me, especially as both of my best friends have bigger breasts and smaller hips than me. Added to this I am quite tall....and this is no time for me to whinge and complain to you! The point was that I recently lost some weight that has my family in a bit of a flurry but that for several months i tried to convince was just my job had me standing around all the time, and this post not only shows that a) it isnt at all nescessary for me to be worried at ALL, and b) only ill can cme from having that mindset. Not that I havent realised tht before, but it didnt seem to help that I tought I looked better like that ( ... )

I think I found a little bit of validation for the shape of my body in medieval pear-ladies. The ones who sway around with little tops and round bellies.
