The Inquirer and Mirror 6/7/12: John Shea "Time Stands Still" at Theatre Workshop
By Lindsay Pykosz (June 7 , 2012)
The mission of Theatre Workshop of Nantucket is multi-faceted, and when executive director Gabrielle Gould and artistic director John Shea sit down to discuss shows for the upcoming season, they try to find ones that touch on all elements of what the company believes in while taking into consideration the artists who will be performing and the audience that will be watching. Donald Margulies’ “Time Stands Still,” set to open tonight at TWN’s Centre Stage theater at the Methodist Church, is no exception. Directed by Lynne Bolton, The Tony Award-nominated play that recently left Broadway centers on Sarah, played by New York-based actress Kara Tyler, a photojournalist; and James, a foreign correspondent played by Shea, who are trying to find love in a time of war.
