Comics Continuum 5/21/02: Seth Howard MUTANT X UPDATE
Production on the second season of the syndicated Mutant X television series begins on May 29. "I am here now in Toronto getting ready to prep for the new season," Tribune Entertainment's Seth Howard told The Continuum. "The stories that we are going to tell are so cool and exciting, I can't wait to get going!"
The first season of the show ended last week with "A Breed Apart," an episode that featured Michael Easton as Gabriel Ashlocke, aka Patient Zero, the first - and most powerful - new mutant. The episode ended with Ashlocke out to rule the world from Genomex, with Mason Eckhart placed in a pod.
"We have signed Michael on for three episodes and will really be delving into this great new character," Howard said. "As for Eckhart, you saw his fate. As for when and if you will see him again, I ain't tellin' - yet."
