I'm enjoying reading this. Especially this part:

Ellen patted his hand. "And he poisoned me, sweetie. Consider yourself lucky."

I've said it before, but you have a real knack for writing Ellen Tigh. And poor Felix in this chapter! I'm totally hooked. :-)

The conversation between Ellen and Felix is all kinds of great. And hell if you don't have me actually being fascinated by this OC Eight of yours. I'm not normally a huge fan of OCs, but yours always seem to actually be properly developed, interesting characters. She and Jesse are really pulling me in here.

Brooks is also turning into someone pretty damn awesome. Looking forward to see how the dynamic between him and Felix goes, seeing as he is looking to him as a senior officer.

I love Mama!Ellen! Yay. I really, really wish the show had explored this side of her more.

It's so fun to read this again, because I'm rediscovering so much. I love Ellen in this, that perfect mix of calm and wise with a little bit of Ellen-y spice and flippancy thrown in. Felix's little daydream still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and sad for him at the same time, too.

I'm kind of wondering why Ellen is staying in the cell with them. Is Cavil holding her captive, or is she wanting to protect / comfort Felix et al?

Awww, Felix's fantasy.

Cavil's holding her captive, pretty much the same as No Exit :)

I couldn't resist Felix's fantasy :)

Oh right. I can't remember much about No Exit except my yelling curses at Adama. I wasn't really paying much attention to the Ellen-Cavil stuff (I should have, but...)
