I love that Adama is going to do this rescue mission for Laura. The image of him taking down those pictures even as he hung hers up is so heartbreaking.

Saul's compassion for Louis makes me love him even more. And Louis and Zarek locked in a brig together? Wow.

The Hall of Rememberance scene makes much more sense with the way you've tweaked it.
Gotta wonder what Zarek's gonna do now that he knows...

(my lucky number! Will this part make me happy?)

Aww, Hoshiiiiiiii.

My wife. Athena? Is a person.

Oooh, I hear Tahmoh saying that in my head. You are amazing.

Tyrol telling Helo that Athena is a blowup doll = OUCH!

Goodness, Laura! You almost made me like you despite your conniving canon ways!

Oh, Ellen, you have no filter whatsoever, do you? *snicker*

Your Final Five are so much more interesting than what canon did with them!

Awww, he should have put Roslin's picture next to Billy's.

Those two, I'm afraid, aren't me. You can hear Tahmoh saying it because I lifted those lines directly from canon- this is largely the same conversation Helo has with Galen after Hera's kidnapped, just edited to include Hoshi's involvement. But anything that's said between the two of them I kept, because I liked it so much.

And yeah, Ellen's got NO filter. I had SO MUCH FUN writing her because of that! :)

I'm glad you enjoyed this final five- I really had fun writing them. And I agree, canon needed to do SOMETHING with them!!!!

I still really love the way you wrote Adama and Roslin together. Even something as simple as him giving her the ring while she's still living--the post-death exchange worked well in "The Hub," since it was trying to show Laura that she'd shut herself off so thoroughly that Bill couldn't reach out to her until she was gone--but once they're at this point, I think doing it while she's alive and can accept it has a lot more grace and dignity. And both the scene with Saul and Kara on the piano bench, and the scene at the end with Adama taking down the photos, still make me tear up.

Thanks so much!

"Grace and dignity". That's what I wish BSG had left us with, and I felt like it was missing. ::sigh:: And yeah- the giving her the ring once she was dead thing was kind of creepy in its way, especially coupled with a few other things they did in canon.

Thanks again! :)
