Well, I don't have a workout buddy even though I do have friends that are doing their own workout program with impressive results (One is doing her first triathlon in 3 weeks! Eep!).
All I can say is that if you need to exercise, then do it. Take small steps and build up. Find something you enjoy: walking, swimming, belly dancing. Just focus on being active, not the losing of the weight.
I may not be physically there to root you on, but I am here with pom-poms at the ready when you do decide the time is right to start exercising.
