If Ann Rule (my fave true crime author) ever comes to a bookstore near me, you'll hear my squee-ing all the way over on your coast!

I haven't read this author. I think the writer I'd get most excited about seeing is probably Donna Tartt. I loved her first novel The Secret History. Or Tanith Lee - I've loved so many of her short stories, as well as her sf novels.
