January the Grey

I'm not entirely sure what my damage has been for the past two days. I thought I was coming down with a cold, but it turned out to be an acute attack of allergies. I'm sleeping a lot and my enthusiasm is a deep shade of Blah. One friend suggests I have become sensitive to barometric changes. Personally, I think it's just the curse of January ( Read more... )

Oh I hate January. I'm hiding from it amidst writing and old episodes of Frasier.

January has the same effect on me. I basically can't wait for it to be over. Though for me, February isn't much better.

You're the knitter. What do you think of this: http://www.collectionsetc.com/Product/portable-knitting-wool-and-yarn-organizer.aspx/_/Ntt-knitting

I was thinking of getting it another knitter. (I can barely sew on a button)

February is closer to March, which means closer to Spring. That's how my brain sees it. LOL!

As for the yarn organizer, it all depends. Does your knitter friend work on projects which use more than one colour? Because that would be handy (eg: sweaters).

However, if she does smaller, single projects (eg: hats, scarves, socks), I would recommend this: http://www.tombihn.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=001&Product_Code=TB0661

I'm able to fit my yarn, project, and circular needles into one bag and toss it into my purse.

They also have a bigger one for larger projects.

I hope you feel better soon.
