Book two compilation update.

I have all the existing material for book 2 compiled and ready to go, but I think I'm going to hold back on offering it for sale another week. I'd like to be able to offer something in the way of extra material (supplemental information, for instance) to people who buy the book... nothing that would be required to enjoy or understand future stories

Perhaps a sketch of the MU campus?

A coupon for one meal in the 'normal' cafeteria?

A short lecture on the four elements as theorized by AE?

An introductory course in small weapons tactics?

A group 'mug shot' of all the characters posing for a 'freshman class' photo?

It's not going to be viusal. I'd have to delay publication more than a week to arrange for an artist (who would have to not mind working for free or close to it), get all the details to them, and then get however many revisions it took done.

Even that aside, I'd be hesitant to set the campus layout out in the public eye this early because, of course, I might find that it would be more convenient for the story if this building over here was instead over there. I understand the reason this would be appealing to the readers... I'm just not ready to "commit."

ok so it can't be done for book 2 but the group photo sounds like a great idea. Maybe after the election win/loss so that it can be of the group of friends rather than the whole of harlowe house so you don't have to limit yourself when you describe new characters who mack hasn't met yet just because they're not in the photo

Given we're not likely to be witness to it, why not do a short script from an episode of Mechknights, or whatever it is that Sooni watches? Half of a two-parter, maybe, or something similar.
