Okay. Bear with me for grogginess, because I just woke up (and this was fantastic to wake up to).

You are amazing. You really nailed both Walter and Dan's characterization here - the way Walter wars with himself is so effective and so in-character, I love it, and I love how he's powerless to resist Dan even though he has so many opportunities to do so. It's incredibly endearing how he can't bear to let Dan go home alone and possibly be subject to the depredations of the foreign cabbie. Oh, Walter, you're so noble.

As for Dan - adorable geeky fumbling drunken nerdiness for the win. He's great here, you've drawn him in very clear strokes. My favorite bit is when he's starting to fantasize about Rorschach and he realizes it's all fucked and he doesn't care at all. The dichotomy between him and Nite Owl is great, really, the way he uses Nite Owl to feel sexually empowered is very hot ( ... )
