Game company discrimination

I am very pissed. EA makes the NEED FOR SPEED series of games. Well the most recent installment, Underground 2 was realesed yesterday. It was supposed to be released for all three major consoles. I happily went out to spend my hard earned money on it. I went to three different stores before giving up. Why did I give up you ask? Simple, every store

Fact: Video game sales dates slip, it happens all the time.
Fact: There are three major game consoles out there currently PS2, XBox and Gamecube.

From what I have seen PS2 and XBox have most of the console market share so if you have to slip one of your three releases guess who loses?
