I am wondering for a while already, did anyone ever really managed to control, to conquer Afghanistan, as well as other Mountain nations in the region?.. How a western mind can fully understand all depth of this culture, of these traditions, of afghan spirit?
And I feel sorry of those people living there now, who don't care anymore about the idea, they are tired, exhausted with the conflicts brought by other civilizations...
How we, the westerners, have the right to say we understand even one percent of this land and its lifestyle?
