That's one thing to consider. I have a stiff and padded jacket. I just tried it on and while it reduces the angle of my shoulder slope, it doesn't make it broader like that.
Here is another picture from 1998 to consider. Again notice the shoulders and the ears.
Well, the noses look exactly the same to me, and the shoulders don't really do it for me since he is wearing completely different tops. The ears? Well, it is suspect, although in the "real" photos he is wearing a turban that is pushing his ears down, thereby deforming them, so it isn't really an accurate comparison.
You know what DOES strike me as being weird, though? His beard. The "new" Bin Laden doesn't have any grey in his bread. I do have to wonder, why would a man in hiding dye his beard? Do they even dye beards over there? Is that a popular activity? Would he have, perhaps, shaved off the grey? And why? Why would he bother with something so trivial? TO me, this is perplexing. I do also think it's a little convenient how they so quickly disposed of his body and cleaned everything up. The government has to realize by now that they need to provide hard, non-negotiable evidence to get the people to believe in them (unless it's Fox News viewers, apparently they believe everything they hear).
Also, public figures like Bin Laden always want to keep a youthful appearance (Saddam Hussein, Hosni Mubarak, Gaddaffi....etc all of them went through great pains to look younger than they are)
The nose looks slightly different to me. It is understandable you might not find that distinct, though. As for the ears, it is not that they are being pushed out that matters, but rather their shapes. Here is the 1998 Osama with a smaller turban that above his ears. The ears are still not as round as those in the new picture:
The nose could be an angle thing. And the shoulders could just be shoulder-pads. But the ears?? That looks off for sure.
Not that I believed much that's come out of Washington for a long time. Several times our military people have come forward and said that they found Bin Laden only to be told to let him and his men go. I guess they need a good excuse to be running around that region and Bin Laden was a great excuse. He was either killed long ago or the CIA gave him total facial reconstruction surgery and a new identity or something.
We need to be out of there. We shouldn't have been in there in the first place. But you know-- OIL! Can't steal it without being there to take it and all...
