[He pulls his pistol out of the holster and spins it around his finger before clumsily dropping it on the ground. Oops.]

[Watching intently, mostly to memorize the mechanism]

[He pulls back on the action and then he holds his left arm out in front of him like a bar. Then he sets the wrist of his pistol holding hand on that arm to steady himself and takes aim. For a guy who can peg a running orc's head who's almost out of sight, that branch goes down easy in one trigger pull.]
