I don't think I've ever heard You've Got the Love in that style before. It was definitely different than the one on Florence's Lungs album. It took me a about a minute, but I really started to get into the groove of it after a while. It also seemed to fit them and their relationship better than the regular version. It allowed you to work with the beat and show off the way they seem to dance around each other.

Congrats also on working in what I think is every flirtatious smile and happy moment between Damon and Elena. With all the angst videos done of them, I had forgotten just how cute and carefree they were with each other by the end of the first series. It reminds me of why I looked forward to watching the show each week.

All in all, a very well done cute and slightly flirtatious vid. Here's hoping you get more shots like these to work with when the show returns next month. :)

yeah i like remixes that are a bit gutsier, and the xx did a whole different take on the song. i'm glad you think this version works better for them because i agree and i wasn't sure if i was going to be the only one.

working with these different types of beats was definitely a challenge for me, but i'm happy i tried it out.

and i know right? they are SO cute! most of my vid ideas for them end up being all dark and moody so i thought i needed to change it up and just go with this one when i got the idea.

I loooove this. Like it's one of my favorites now.
First of major win with the song.
And the Remix, yes please.
And then i really like your editing.

Just over all, great.
I especially like the last 30 secons with all the skips.

and i definitely agree with you, the last 30 seconds are much better than the rest (i blame it on the song being most interesting for editing there :P )

Haha yeha it is deffinitly the most interesting there.

But the whole video is really good like the fact that the part of the seires that you got the clip form goes with the lyrics.

Like the "I can count on you." is Damon helping her with Jer and then with Stefan.

And then you included the scene when Damon sit on the couch with elena, and like put her legs on his lap. Ugh. I have no idea why but that is ont of my fav DE moments.

And the Damon "I know" at 1:53 was EPIC! I somehow didn't notice at first.
