I did pretty good my first two weeks, but now school is catching-up with me. I am starting to fall behind. It doesn't seem horrible, it was just a strategic placing of due dates so that I couldn't do some of those mentioned assignments. Like today, I'm supposed to turn in a group project that I had no part of. Yesterday was the beginning of fall

sounds cool, im finding the language quite hard but i finally got a handle on hiragana, we are moving very quickly. Atleast i know a bunch of words. How are you going to go to Japan? By yourself?

I probably would go to japan by myself, but I think it would be my preffered way to go. I wouldn't want to latch onto someone and ignore the natives and their culture. I could easily see myself allowing myself to speak english with whoever I was with a lot. I want to pick up the language and culture as much and quick as possible.

My class is going extremely slow. I'm getting impatient and have started working ahead of the class. I will need to teach myself japanese if I'm going to learn it. Kind of sad, but true. But this much is for certain, from what I know about their culture, history, music, and language, I have yet to find something that I don't absolutely love. And what's more, I find that the more I learn about them, the more I want to know. It's kind of like that thing where "you answer one question and two more arise." I can see it becoming a much more important part of my life.
