2nd Detonator [Video]

[Kresnik is currently sitting against a building with the communicator focusing on his upper half and the wall behind him.]

...It seems that my body has finally adjusted to this world. [Sighs] However, the lack of information in how to escape is frustrating. Supposedly, only the scientists are able to let people leave, but no one seems to know ( Read more... )

You can just take any empty apartment, they don't really belong to anybody.

About the chip, just ask a doctor about it. cozmic-travel took mine out for me.

The rest, I don't know any more than you, sorry.

...Right, I'll probably take one soon.

[Notes down the name, even though he doesn't know where the chip is] Alright, thanks for the information.

No problem. The three apartments that are liveable are on Marshall, Latimir, and Horton, near Lander. There's been some damage to Marshall and Latimir, though.

...What happened to those apartments?

So far, the residents seem able to leave the city itself. The world is another matter entirely.

[curiously] Was there something about the world that did not agree with you?

Is there anything special outside of this city?

...Yes. It's mostly the chip's doing though.

There are two other cities; I have not heard of further exploration, though there does seem to be interest.

Odd. It is not a problem specific to this world?

...Perhaps those two other cities have something that can lead us back to our own worlds.

No. The chip suppressed a lot of my...powers.

...I'm aware of that.

I don't want to leave this town, just the whole world in general. [He has some fighting capability left, but the soldier isn't confident enough to take down hordes of monsters if they decided to attack]

I'm glad you're feeling better Commander. I'm afraid I can't be much help in leaving this place, but as far as chips go... It's most likely not a possibility to remove yours at this time. My apologies. Please do stop by the hospital though and we'll see what can be done in any event.

And ah...no, it's best not to stay out on the streets. Not even counting the monsters it is getting colder.

...I figured, since I'm not aware of the location of my chip yet. [He's definitely not allowing someone to open up his body to find it either] ...What can be done in the hospital then?

I noticed the falling decrease of temperature lately...

They're annoyingly hard to find. One of the doctors can check for you, if you'd like, to varify if your chip is in an unknown locaiton. You should also fill out a medical record. Here one has a tendency to find themselves in the hospital more than they're accostumed to.

There, see? It'd be terrible if it started snowing while you were living outside. At the least uncomfortable!

...Only doctors? There won't be any scientists, correct? [He's not thrilled in starting a medical record, but it's probably more beneficial to have one in order to survive better.]

I would most likely catch something if I slept outside while it's snowing.

WHY HAVE I NOT POSTED TO YOU YET /sobs verily_ergo November 25 2009, 06:39:40 UTC
Many of us know very little at present about the scientists and their current location.

As for escape-- there is none save through the scientists and their technology, that we know of.

You may take up residency within any of the apartment buildings. Supplies are available in the commercial district of the city, although... there are monsters prowling about and trekking that area can be rather dangerous.

[Although the lack of helpful information is irritating, Kresnik does appreciate the answer] "Many of us..." It appears that you know a lot of people, since you're able to speak for them.

Do you know what kind of technology they use?

...I'll keep that in mind.

WOW they're off to a nice start 8| way to go Edgeworth. ... and Kresnik verily_ergo November 25 2009, 08:26:06 UTC
'A lot' is relative in this sort of place--the number is irrelevant, considering I have gained that bit of intelligence via the network.

Of course not, or the people of the city would have made farther advances in attempting to escape.

...The communicator network? Or are you referring to your own established set of connections?

Hm. [unamused] Aren't you an established source of information.
