Ten thousand shadows descend upon a world that never was

A lost cry from heaven. swallowed in the blackness of dying doves

The only one left standing, I am lost in the noises, the fading buzz

Of bodies and minds much stronger, being lifted into the glow above

I plant my worn shoes on the quiet pavement, refusing to budge
