boo the meme maxed out while i was in the middle of a convo :(
but anyway if that other anon i was talking to with about jungle fish 2 is here, hong jonghyun was a model before, without any acting history, so in that sense, it makes sense that even joon and jiyeon out-acted him, since at least they've had experience :)
anddd ia with the rest of the things you last said, lmao.
I was so relieved to get that last comment in at the last minute ahaha. :D
Ah, then that makes sense, but... still. Fail lead actor. :( At least he was really cute.
Jiyeon seems to always play similar roles - she does suit that "(possibly rich) schoolgirl with Issues" role and just seems to naturally look it, but I'd love to see her do other stuff. :I Preferably with Joon kekeke
idk, i thought her roles have been pretty different so far! a ghost in soul, a bully in high kick through the roof (?), a cute hyper girl (altho she did have rich girl issues here too lmao) in god of study, and a seemingly cold hearted bitch (lol sort of) in jungle fish 2. (oh and a tormented schoolgirl in that horror flick).
i do think she's still limited in terms of acting range somewhat, but that she also has potential, since imo she played each of her characters unique from each other. or maybe i am biased idk :(
in a way she's still limited because of her age, I guess? :( she always gets schoolgirl parts, and I really hope she continues acting because I want to see her in more roles. :(
But yes, agreed that she managed to get all the characters really uniqe with their core personalities. I think it's interesting how she seems to somehow take a role and make it hers, so there're shadows of her regular self at parts and not entirely changing to fit the role... Um. Like. She still acts well but isn't lost in the character? :( I really like that though some might disagree and call it poor acting.
