“what happened?”. He asked but instead of a reply, he had an armful of crying Jaejoong in his arms. He received a call from his professor after he and Junsu placed Yunho on his bed after fainting. He didn’t think twice of running back to school the moment the older man uttered Jaejoong’s  name on the other line. Changmin wouldn’t have called him if he could handle his younger brother and he often can’t since Jaejoong started taking the pregnancy hormones that he needed to have a healthier pregnancy despite the stress he’s currently experiencing.

Yoochun gently cupped the smaller man’s face that was pressed against his chest, he tilted it upward to see its face and it never fail to break his heart every time he see those gorgeous pair of doe-like eyes redden and flooded with his unending tears.

“what happened baby? Why are you crying?”. He calmly asked, thumbing the tears running down the other’s smooth, pale cheeks. The smaller man bit his lip as he stared at his friend, hold on its torso tightening as he fought his urge to cry loudly as he recall what his brother told him.

“Hyu-hyung said -“. He started before pressing his face again to the other’s now wet, clothed chest. Jaejoong knew that everything Changmin said was true. The doctor already told them that there’s a little possibility that Yunho would remember him for the trauma that the latter experienced was severe and doctor’s doesn’t want to reassure them or give false hopes.

He slowly lifted his head when YooChun kissed his head. “h-he said Yunho would never remember me“. he continued in a raspy voice.

YooChun instantly looked at his professor that’s looking so regretful with what he said. He knew that the older man was hurting with what was happening right now, but still, he shouldn’t have said those words that he knew would pain his brother more that he already is. All of the people that is aware about Jaejoong’s pregnancy had been nothing but supportive towards the latter, but despite those encouragement they gave, the beautiful man never seem to hear a word they have said and YooChun somewhat understand and feel how that hurts Changmin upon seeing his brother hold on to something that he himself wasn’t sure of.

“Jaejoong”.. Changmin called tiredly and his brother tightened his hold to YooChun.

“he would remember me right? ”. YooChun heard him asked in a desperate whisper but even before he could answer and tell him that Yunho called his name earlier;

Jaejoong slowly pulled away from him and wrapped his thin arms around his stomach as he slowly curled; knees’ bending until they reached the cold office floor and that instant, the oldest in the room was already beside him.

And before YooChun could comprehend what was happening, Changmin shouted at him to get his car keys above his desk as he carried Jaejoong that’s moaning in pain in his arms out of his office.

His whole body shudders as he ran as fast as he can despite the heavy pour of rain towards Seoul Forest park where they would meet. He knew he should have accepted the jacket and umbrella that YooChun was offering him earlier but he was too damn excited to tell Jaejoong everything.

His steps slowed down into a walk when he saw him and he had the urge to  hit him hard  by letting his expensive headphones hanging around its slender neck get drenched in the rain but the idea was forgotten when he noticed how he looked like as he sat there on the park bench ; clothes wet, head hung low, body unmoving and left hand holding a transparent umbrella that he obviously didn’t use.

Yunho took a deep breath as he moved closer to the smaller man that was waiting for him more than an hour ago. He licked his lips and placed his right hand inside his jeans’ front pocket

“Jae”.. he called loud enough for the other to look up at him and Yunho didn’t know if those were tears or the rain drops that’s wetting the gorgeous, angelic face that he unexpectedly fell in love with.

Jaejoong opened his mouth to speak but decided to keep everything he wanted to say by himself. It was too late now and he already expected that this day will come, he just didn’t expect it to hurt so much and didn’t help that Yunho still came. He hastily stood from where he was sitting and walked out the park towards a sheltered bus stop then he stood there, body numb to feel the cold wind blowing on their direction and to notice the taller man that followed him and now standing just a few inches away from his shivering body.

Yunho looked at the pale student and he couldn’t help but to ask his self why the latter looked so lost. He was pulled out from his thoughts when he noticed Jaejoong’s shivering form, he moved closer to him but the other moved away and lifted his gaze from the wet pavement to look at him straight in the eye and the question the smaller man uttered caught him off guard.

“why did you even bother seeing me here when you will just leave like how you planned since the start?”.and the way  Jaejoong looked at him made Yunho feel like he was the worst person ever lived. The saddened gaze that the shorter man was giving him was enough to make him look away.

“H-how -“.

“Junsu wasn’t a person who can keep secret, especially the bad ones and I doubt that he knew that he told it to me accidentally”. He cut him off and the way Jaejoong spoke those words flatly made Yunho looked back at him. It took a minute before the smaller student broke their intense gaze, not because he can’t take how fierce Yunho’s almond-orbs are but because he can’t let the latter see him cry. He already felt super stupid for falling in love with him, he couldn’t handle embarrassing his self anymore with he saw him crying. He placed his right hand over his forehead, pressing the wet fringes sticking on it to cover his tearing pair of doe-like eyes.

“G-go home, Yun.” He said, pleading but when the other made no move, he shook his head and decided to leave instead. Turning on his right, he was about to take a step away from the man he can never be with; when a large hand halted his movement and slowly turned him around by pulling his left arm, Jaejoong hesitantly removed the right hand pressing and closing his eyes at the same time and stared at the taller student, that’s now facing him.

Yunho licked his drying and now pale lips because of the cold. “Don’t go”. He uttered. Confidence crumbling a little when Jaejoong’s blank impression didn’t change even a bit and it didn’t help that its gorgeous eyes stared at him like it was asking him to explain further.

“You’re a bitch”. Was the first thing that Yunho said after a moment of silence and the pale man’s brow furrowed at that, pulling his arm away from his firm yet not tight hold.

Jaejoong’s jaw tightened as Yunho didn’t let him go easily that he still used his remaining strength as he pulled his arms harshly that made him walked back a bit yet successfully freed from the warm hands holding him.

“I’m in no mood to tolerate your insults”. He brokenly said and instantly turned around to leave though he noticed the other’s mouth opened to say something. He continued to walk in haste, uncaring to the words Yunho was saying to him until he heard him shouted stop loudly, and stop he did.

He smiled when he saw him halted, his throat was starting to soar and it didn’t help that the rain started to pour harder that’s making his words unclear to the other. He stepped out of the bus stop and with big steps; he approached the stilled Jaejoong and stopped in front of him.

“I don’t know what happened. I don’t have any idea why it turned out to be like this but I do hate you Jaejoong. I hate you so damn much!”. He said loudly, his heart drumming inside his chest as he watched how the other’s hand form into a tight fist obviously insulted with his words before he looked at its face him, eyes covered with his raven colored fringes and this time, Yunho was sure that those were tears running from the gorgeous face as its body shuddered not from the cold but from the sobs that Jaejoong was holding.

“Arrogant b-bastard!”. the pale student shouted back despite his difficulty breathing. It hurts so much inside knowing how Yunho hates him, he was just telling himself that this was better for him to move on easily.

Despite the insult, Yunho smiled. “I hate you -”. he repeated and when Jaejoong met his gaze, Yunho knew he was lost with the angel in front of him.

“I hate you for making me love you instead”.

--------

The red - haired student felt uncomfortable with the intense gaze that Yunho was giving him from the other side of the table. he can feel that something was bothering the other since the moment it woke up from his earlier fainting and Junsu could feel that it has something to do with Jaejoong.

“Su”. The tan-kissed skin man started, breaking the silence surrounding them. “tell me something about Jaejoong”. He continued and he didn’t miss the way the others mouth lifted to a smile before it looked at him.

“what about Jae?” he asked back. Resisting the urge to tell his friend everything he knows about them.

Yunho scratched his head irritably, he didn’t have any idea what to ask about the pale student that he hates but like at the same time. He wants to know if his dreams was a real dream or a part of his memory but he was ashamed letting Junsu know that he was dreaming of his enemy.

“anything”. He answered after a while and wasn’t disappointed when the other just gave him a pointed look instead of saying anything like he asked.

Heaving a deep sigh, Yunho stood from his chair and leaned on the counter before looking at the now serious looking Junsu. “I dreamed about Jaejoong -“. he hesitantly said and when he noticed that the other was still interested with what he was about to say, he continued. “the dream was nothing alike of what is happening now. Yes, I do hate him in my dream but at the same time -“. He stopped again and closed his eyes, afraid of his friend’s reaction of what he was going to say next.

Junsu was holding his breath as he waited for Yunho to continue and it killed him seeing how hesitant the other was in expressing what he feels.

“in that dream, I just don’t like him.” he continued, now looking at his friend. “I love him that it hurts me seeing him being hurt. It was so real and it scared me to know that I do love Jaejoong”. He admitted, covering his face with his both hands.  Everything that was happening to him was a mess, he didn’t know who and what to believe that it scared him to remember what he forgot.

The shorter man looked at his friend, happy and worried combined. He wanted to say something but he can’t, he promised Jessica that he wouldn’t tell anything about Jaejoong to Yunho, he was against the idea but he understand where it was coming from. Yunho was the only son of the Jungs’, although Jaejoong was considered as their own, Yunho was still the priority, and being a mother, it hurts you many times seeing your own son hurt and faint with the pain every time he tries to remember something. That’s why he understood Jessica and wouldn’t say a word.

"I want to tell you everything I know but I promised Aunt Sica that I wouldn’t, just ask her Yunho”. he said before he sat up and leave his friend to think only to stop mid way out of their dormitory’s kitchen when the taller student called his name and he answered it with a ‘yes’.

“Just answer this please”.. he said and when Junsu nodded, Yunho took a deep a breath, it was now or never.

“who is Jaejoong to me?”.

Upon hearing the question, Junsu smiled though his friend wasn’t able to see it and he continued to walk out the kitchen not before he answered;

“your life”.
