That is true. That MGS entry kinda bugs me because some of the examples make sense (Mei Ling and Olga being Chinese and Russian stereotypes respectively), some of them seem like a stretch (Naomi), and some of them I absolutely don't get (Sigint as a black stereotype). Especially since there are more glaringly obvious racial/ethnic stereotypes in the series (Liquid and Zero are both evil and very stereotypically British), not to mention the unfortunate implication inherent in Peace Walker's lily-white cast despite the ambiguous Central/South American setting.
