Re 1821 -- get on the horn to your state senator, state representative and the governor's office. Don't for get the Lt Gov: Purdue (THANK GOD) is term limited. Bellow. A lot. Pointing out to the state rep, senator & gov that this disproportionately hits the working poor would probably help a lot. Point out also that this means they are cutting voters out of transportation to jobs less than a year before the senators and representatives sit for re-election. Then get on the horn to Secretary of Transportation Ray La Hood and ask why it is that the working poor of Atlanta are getting stiffed, when bankers get bailouts. And then get on to Isakson, Chambliss & Lewis and ask where their legislation to support the people who keep sending them to DC is. Point out to the Good Ol' Boys of the Grand Ol' Party that this will get through and look good 'cause bipartisanship makes them look better than their evil gnome like comrades of the Party of No ( ... )
