[It's actually the arm tightening around her that wakes her up moreso than the voice. She pushes away at the hand, a little. Get off. It's hot in here.]
[The "No!" is startling, however, and her eyes open. She frowns, yawns, and rubs at her eyes before trying to look at him over her shoulder. What's wrong?]
[But he's already up and disappearing into the dark of the hallway, not bothering with his boxers. You can hear hum stumble his way into the kitchen, tripping past a chair and gasping. Opens a cabinet door.
Then there's crash of glass, millions of pieces everywhere. Somewhere in this his eye patch was torn off, hiding in the shadows. He stands by the sink, hands running under the water, bloody and cut with shards of glass. He's shaking, eyes blurry and unfocused.] Shit...
[It takes her a moment, through the sleepy haze, to realize that he'd even gotten up. Fucking weird rabbit. She settles back into the pillows, tucking one behind her back. And she is just about to drift off to sleep again when she hears the crash.]
[Now it's her turn to bolt up, even if it causes slight vertigo. Glances around for a moment before slowly bringing her legs over the edge of the bed and slides out. The first shirt she picks up is his, slung over the bed post. Kanda slips it on over her shoulders and starts buttoning as she pads out into the hallway.]
[Kitchen? What the hell is he doing in the kitchen?]
He doesn't hear her at first, too busy with trying to scrape the glass out of his fingers. Whatever light is in the room only adds to his shaking form. Obviously something is up.]
