Akuma and Noah- Akuma are, essentially, programs. They are connected to servers that allow them to work for the Noah. In short, they take up the form of dead loved ones (via AI? Dreams?) in order to kill people

The Heart could be like a legend/fairy tale in the virtual world? Kinda like a myth that no one really has any hard facts on, only rumors and gossip.

Good point. I had an argument for it, and now the more I look at it, the more I don't think I like it. I'll throw it out there anyway, though, just 'cause.

Assuming that they've been at this for a long time, like in the regular canon, they might have had the powers. Now that we're all looking at technology, however, it's likely those abilities have degraded. So they aren't at full tilt.

well if we're going some sort of .hack game where people are hooked up and allows the Noah to hack into people's brains from the game... (which is how I understand this? or am I thinking wrong? I assume they play this game--or maybe it's just how the internet is? summer wars-style? idek.)

perhaps the Noah have upgraded themselves so their powers can be channeled into the game/their hacking skills? like Tyki can step over game boundaries/get through firewalls... idk?

Innocence could have evolved to be integrated with tech too?

I don't think they necessarily have to be matching, though if you want to go with a central theme, I'm all for it.

Either way, I sort of like the idea of going with journal names that would work as their IC usernames, too. Y/N?
