I like your porn because it still always says something about the characters -- like here, it was cool to see Harry as someone aggressive and predatory, because although I think he has it in him, he's very often passive about things. This Harry is not angsting about being the boy who lived, he's acting on a desire and I think that's interesting.

Oh, I totally think he has it in him, he's just got to learn to use it. I also tend to think that after so many years of being a pawn, he's going to want to be in control of whatever he can control (not that he's on top here, but generally speaking).

That's actually another thing I liked about this fic -- Harry is on bottom, and he's with Faith, but at least to me he seemed to be the one in control. He started it, and he's the one who made most of the moves. Faith, who usually fucks people's brains out and leaves, ended up feeling vulnerable at the end, which I think is rare for her.
I think the other thing that grabbed me about this fic is that Harry was actually identifying his own suffering in someone else. I think he's like Buffy in that there's some self-righteousness in his isolation, so it's kind of remarkable for him to see somebody and say, "actually, this person feels the same way."

Well, it's definitely an older, more mature Harry - I didn't really think about where Ron and Hermione are here, but I think Harry's grown up a lot, seeing how even victory doesn't make everything all right in the end. So he's seeing her as a fellow soldier.
Which may be too much to put on 800 words of smut, but yeah, I was thinking about it when I wrote him, so I'm really glad it comes through.

And yeah, I figure she's a little younger - Buffy was born in January 1981 (there are conflicting dates, but I think that's the one that ended up being used more than once *g*), and I always thought Faith was a little younger (despite the "all dressed up in big sister's clothes" line in GD2), so, yeah. Close enough to make no difference. *g*

Very hot and compelling. I love how you've handled Faith, her arrogance and vulnerability, and how the only real clue we get it's her is, "five by five," yet she's Faith all the way through, from the clothes to the attitude.
And Harry...*melts* ...he's so sexy without every realizing it.
