I mean, you could argue Hufflepuff, since what gets him in trouble is his caring about his squadmates, but choosing not to kill and then not only escaping on the spur of the moment but freeing the prisoner to go with him because he needs a pilot and then just making the rest up as he goes along - that's a pretty Gryffindor response and plan, imo.
best quality: having a moral compass that wasn't destroyed by First Order brainwashing
worst quality: I don't think we've seen anything yet that qualifies? Though I guess lying about how to take the shields down just to go rescue Rey might count? But he comes through even there.
