Last night when I got home, my cable was out completely, including internet, and the CSR was little help. He seemed convinced the splitter was the problem, but when I finally was able to unhook the connection from outside from the splitter and hook it directly to the modem, there was still no service, so. The cable guy is coming tomorrow night

Here in the UK we have satellite dishes delivery Sky internet and boradband which is very good plus BT over telephone cable. I think Virgin is cable.

I think a lot of other countries do this stuff better than the US.
