I made it to Dom's easily enough yesterday, though I did pack and repack a couple of times and then I had to schlep all my stuff up the stairs and down the stairs when the Port Jeff train came in on the other track at Huntington. Sigh

Let me echo your Wonder Woman sentiments hoping the universe hears us: PLEASE DON'T SUCK.
The trailer looks good. I like the sword, so she finally has an offensive weapon. I (think I) like that they are doing the original meet Steve T. story. I really hope they don't fat shame Etta like the comics did (but I was happy to see her). That blue dress is incredible.
PLEASE DON'T SUCK.

PLEASE DON'T SUCK.
Two questions. How did you get tickets to SDCC?
Do you read the Wonder Woman comics? Are they deep and interesting and happy-making?

I have not read the recent reboot of Wonder Woman with Greg Rucka writing, though I probably will at some point, as I enjoyed his earlier run on the character. I did start the Azzarello/Chiang run but didn't end up keeping up with it, because of that whole "Amazons rape men for babies and then kill them" thing, which was just. No.
Two Wonder Woman stories I absolutely recommend - both are self-contained - are Wonder Woman: The Hiketeia by Greg Rucka, and JLA: A League of One by Christopher Moeller, though I believe both are out of print? You can probably still get them used or via digital download.
I did not get tickets to SDCC! I'm visiting with my dad on Long Island; I just got the trailers from Youtube and Tumblr.
