Wednesday reading:

What I've finished
Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen, which, as noted last week, is a pretty standard Sarah Dessen novel, so I got what I came for, though I actually would have liked a little more resolution with the brother.

Oh, I didn't know that Sarah Dessen had a new book! I will have to put that on hold. I really like most of her books, but I got the sense, after I read several in a row, that they are subtly sex-negative? Did you ever get that feeling?

I've never really thought about it? I guess there isn't any sex in them, though there's frequently a pre-book history of sexual assault, or in this case, the threat of it hanging over the main character for a while. Huh.
