My period arrived very late last night/very early this morning, which on the one hand, it's five days early, what the hell, but on the other, it means I won't be fretting about getting it on my first day of jury duty (if I do indeed have to report to court on Monday). Timing really is everything, I suppose

Your Promised Eternity remix is one of my favorite R/S fics in all of fandom.

Remix-wise, the story very artfully wiggles its way into the heart of the original. Story-wise, it's a very satisfying romance that gets metaphysically and philosophically complex -- but soothing to all of us wounded by the ending of book 5. And, I loved the new minor things; the Department of Mysteries Men in Black, Bill/Tonks, and your tough Lily and her friendship with Remus.

After all these years, it still stands out as one of the classic must-reads of R/S.
