So we had a bit of a situation here yesterday when suddenly just before 4 pm, the power went out. Just our floor and the floor above. We waited around for a few minutes, but when the building said they weren't going to be able to fix it quickly, we all went home. It was nice getting home early. Now it's mostly fixed, but the AC in the server room ( Read more... )

Very excited to finally see Age of Ultron this weekend. I haven't bought Fandango tickets--maybe we'll go to a matinee with (slightly) fewer people.

I'm surprised they didn't give you the next day off, too. It sounds like there wasn't a lot of work you could do! But that's how it goes.

Good luck getting matinee tickets! I'm seeing it in...*checks time* FIVE HOURS.

Sadly, we're all here, though I've not done much but make copies and screw around on the internet.

ALL THE AWESOME LADIES. I looked at that big warehouse fight scene where we had *five* fabulous female characters kicking ass and taking names, and it made me so happy I almost cried, seriously. I loved that they had a plan, and Diggle and Lyla having their own code word made me flail so hard. And Thea's big moment, oh man.

I'm mostly handwaving/giggling at Oliver's brainwashing, 'cause it's ridiculous and the whole thing is not gonna last very long. I do like your idea of Oliver fighting the League mind control for his City, not just for his loved ones. And from your comment, I gather the "Ra's al Ghul forces a superhero to marry his daughter" is yet another storyline they ripped off Batman? Hee! Of course they did.

I am *so worried* for both Lyla and Nyssa. Every time Lyla get a meaty episode in particular, I spend the entire hour sweating nervously about whether they're kill her off. ACCK. Don't do it, writers!

Yeah, they were so many happy making things. Like, I can forgive how meandering this season was if we get more episodes like this to finish it off!

Yup. A number of times even (or in a number of different media and story lines), and they even have a kid, the fifth Robin, Damian Wayne.

ME TOO. I'm always like, YAY LYLA! DON'T DIE!
