So our building is closed today - apparently Good Friday is a union holiday, so there's no HVAC, no maintenance, and no cleaning services, but we're still here working. Or looking like we're working. Whatever. Sigh. I think I'm going to go back to taking Good Friday and Easter Monday off in the future.

I always find it odd when an ostensibly Christian country doesn't at the very least have Good Friday as a public holiday (the Irish Republic doesn't, even, and they don't have that whole separation of Church and State thing). I guess I'm just so used to having Good Friday and Easter Monday off that I just think everyone else does the same).

The tiny proportion of people who comment on stories, rather than just clicking the kudos, or doing nothing at all, is depressing. Hey ho.

Well, we still do allegedly have the separation of church and state? I don't even know.

Don't let the hit count/kudos ratio get you down! For lo, you are a good enough writer that your stories are worth rereading, and AO3 will only let you leave kudos on a story once. I, for instance, just reread the Steve and Darcy forced to share a hotel room story for the 9th or 10th time. I'd've kudoed it every time if I could - but since I can't, I am pushing your hit count up while leaving your kudos flat.

Don't be depressed. Just write a sequel (or six!) and I'll leave kudos on all of those too!
