I hate to say it but you’ll never relate

Aha! I think I just figured out what has to happen next in this story and it makes sense for both characters! Go me! *takes copious notes so I don't forget*

yeah, i liked joan's childhood interest in the mafia too. it made sense to me. and all the sherlock&bell stuff was pretty fantastic, not least because they got to yell at each other and clear the air a bit and sherlock essentially told bell what a great detective he is, and then bell came back. (not that this was a huge surprise, but it was nice to see.) but a lot of the case seemed very convenient and kind of contrived.

Yeah, the Sherlock-Bell stuff was good, and of course Joan was interested in the mafia growing up in Queens, but the case was just sketched in - they need to do better writing-wise.

I already knew Chevy Chase was leaving though I didn't know they killed off Pierce (I'm a little behind X) but I really, really won't miss him as I loathe him with the intensity of a thousand suns. (They do use him for good comic effect sometimes, of course, but he's one of the vilest characters I can remember for a long while).

Elementary is on DVD in the UK now! Yay :D
Have to try and get hold of it soon.

I didn't know they were actually going to kill him off either, so it was a bit of a surprise. I don't think the revelation worked int his episode, but my understanding is tonight's episode deals with it and is supposed to be hilarious.
