Got my flu shot yesterday afternoon. Had a low grade fever last night. Are these two things related? Who knows? I was in bed before 11 though, because I had that awful achy-draggy feverish feeling. Am fine this morning, though, at least so far.

You know, surprisingly I didn't get a love triangle vibe from the whole Slade watching Ollie and Shado. I think Slade is suspicious of Shado and I think he's developed a soft spot for Ollie since it's been a couple of months on the island. He cares about him or at least appears to. I don't like the automatic Woman is Evil assumption but I don't know what's worse, that or a frivolous love triangle. You know what the love triangle should be? Slade is in love with Ollie, not Shado (and she isn't evil, Slade is and she's trying to keep Ollie from that and when they turn into drama llamas she peaces out). And when he comes to Star City in the present time some season down the road their epic battles will be even more so since they'll be bitter exes.

You know what would be awesome? Roy getting hurt, Thea finding out and her taking up his mantle therefore becoming Green Arrow's protege. I don't know if this is a Jackson from TW backlash but I just don't like Roy.

Thea!! You're doing so well, bb! I will love Felicity until the end of time.

I think he does have a soft spot for Ollie, and I might be less DNW if it were jealousy in that direction, but right now I can't tell what they're going to do, but since they wasted so much time on the Ollie/Laurel/Tommy love triangle last season, I can't help but be wary that they're going to replicate it on the island now, with even less success. I mean, I'm willing to buy a lot of crazy things in a comics fandom for why Slade might end up as Deathstroke (if he actually does) and why Deathstroke might be a bad guy (if he is instead of a merc), but a love triangle is not one of them.

That would be awesome. And Speedy was Red Arrow's sidekick name. So it's not like they didn't lay some groundwork. She already has the drug problem, too! She can even have the robot arm!

God save us from love triangles, they are always so sloppily written it drives me insane. I hate them. Just give me a threesome instead. But if the writers and show producers didn't learn anything from last season's love triangle then I have no hope. That means at this rate next season's love triangle will be between Felicity/Ollie/Laurel and that's when I might just give up on the show. Because NO.

Speaking of Felicity really briefly, I accidentally came across the corner of the internet that hates her with a passion and it was so shocking! And I was so sad since I was fandom compatible with all the other fandoms that person was in but that was just such a huge DNW. I don't understand why it has to be either or with liking Felicity or Laurel. Can't I like them both? And can't the show do right by Laurel? Do you think it was Laurel at the end of the premiere in the really bad blond wig that saved Roy?

Yeah, love triangles are generally terribly written and also so predictable and boring. Threesomes! Or poly V-style relationships! Come on!

I could understand being mildly annoyed by the hot geek girl who is supposedly dowdy and stammery in the face of Ollie's ~manliness but she's so awesome! She makes him laugh! She and Digg are a great team!

Ugh fandom, making everything worse since forever.
